The Best 'Anywhere' Exercises: Just because you’re not at the gym doesn’t mean you can’t exercise!

There are a million excuses not to work out, and when you’re strapped for time or away from home, keeping up healthy habits can be even harder. But just because you’re not at the gym doesn’t mean you can’t exercise. In fact, you don’t need weights, machines, or even a lot of room to get a good workout. Check out some of the exercises you can do while sitting in traffic or even while sitting at your desk, for example. Click HERE for the full story.

QuoD: Do YOU do any exercises while sitting at your desk at work or while stuck in traffic?

When I commuted 100 miles/day, I used to do "car yoga." I'd sit in perfect alignment, use the whole of the ball of my foot on the pedals, align my knees to my ankles & toes, spread my sitz bones, tuck my tailbone, lengthen my side body, roll my shoulders up back & down, and pull my ears back to align my neck.

I don't commute like that anymore, but I do a little pelvic alignment when I stand in line--center my feet, open up my sitz bones & tuck my tail bone...I always get a little crack or two in my spine & it really releases tension in my hips/lower back.
